Putting The Lakes Physio on the Map: Lessons from Springfield Lakes’ Trusted Physiotherapy Clinic

There’s a big difference between being a great physio and getting the word out about it. The reality? Plenty of talented physios aren’t getting found online — and it’s not for lack of expertise. It often comes down to one thing: not having the right marketing behind them.

We teamed up with The Lakes Physio at Springfield Lakes (now in World Gym Springfield) to help Butch Redoblado put his clinic on the map — literally and figuratively. With years of passion for sports rehab and pain management, Butch built trust through personal care, but he needed people to actually find him, book in, and keep coming back.

People who know Butch, love him for his knowledge and passion for physio. Our goal was to tell his story and share it across 4300 Springfield and beyond.

Full-circle marketing, local-style

For The Lakes Physio, we did more than just build a website and hope for the best. Here’s a snapshot of what the process looked like:

  • Branding that stirs trust (and is easy to remember)
  • A website loaded with easy info and booking options
  • Fresh content and simple SEO to get found on Google
  • Social media, local print, and even videos full of Butch’s gym wisdom
Play Video

Those videos? They turned out to be a massive win—short clips that went behind the scenes at World Gym, breaking down everything from warm-ups to advanced recovery exercises as well as specific injury prevention and rehabilitation movements.

Why does this stuff work for physios?

  1. Trust starts online: Your website and branding usually give people their first impression—make it clear, calm, and helpful.
  2. Content brings value: Blogs and videos let you answer the questions clients are Googling (“How do I fix my shoulder pain?”), building authority and starting conversations.
  3. Organic SEO means more locals find you: People in Springfield Lakes want help close to home. Optimising for local searches (and sharing case studies like your star patient’s recovery) puts your clinic in Google’s good books.
  4. Social media keeps you top of mind: Regular posts—even once a week—remind followers you’re there when injury strikes or rehab takes a turn.

Simple pointers for any physio:

  • Don’t overthink it—start with one useful blog post a month
  • Use simple, clear language (no medical jargon)
  • Share tips and real success stories (with permission, of course)
  • Make booking or calling super easy
